My own little world

My own little world makes sense to me. You see this world of mines is quiet and peaceful. 

My own little world is how this world should be. Like cool, chilled out, calm and collected. My world isn't petty at all, it's all love. 

Jam packed my world is, seem as if its overloaded at times. Full of struggle and pain, hope and ambition. Lonely this world of mine could be, it's just me, just me, myself and God. My flesh and my soul at odds with each other, total opposites like one is patient and the other can't wait at all. A world that's plane and simple, or at least that is what I would like it to be, cause naturally there is jazz, N.W.A and I didn't get killed today, so today was a good day. 

Still trying to forget about the past and not just the bad but even the good, in this world of mines if you focus, just stay focused you could, should, and you will reach your zenith. 

Receiving has been a challenge, I got to start receiving these blessings the right way.

 In a nutshell it's all about being happy, really that's what it boils down to, being happy and if you have happiness, you also have peace and love.

Such a small world, with the deepest roots though, this little world of mines is a place that could be a heaven or a hell, yet still it's a special place and an amazing space though,

This little world of mines is not to be sold or owned or controlled by another, I own this place. 

So if you don't hear from me, or if you see me and I got my headphones on and my eyes are closed, if you see me in a deep, deep thought, 

I'm more then likely in my own little world.

2014 Pt.1

2014

The Fiva World Cup was amazing, soccer has finally grown more popular in the U.S this year for some particular reason. The little league World Series was also amazing this year with an outstanding female pitcher and its first all African American champions on the American side. 

2014 has been a different year Joan Rivers passed away.

Mike Brown gets killed ruthlessly by the police in Ferguson, meanwhile Robin Williams commits suicide.

The late great Robin Williams by the way a man that has made us laugh hard for decades just like Joan Rivers.

Rap music continues to get worst, continues to poison our community and our people, it's just bad. 

And in the streets overdoses on herion continues to rise year by year.

Obama is still taking a beating by the republicans and everyone else even while people are working, the housing market hasn't collapsed, and so much more, so much more, the president has done a lot of good for this country and yeah he may have made some mistakes but who on this earth hasn't and could you walk in that man shoes, take all the pressure and hatefulness that he takes. 

It's 2014 and racism still seems to be at an all time high, it's sad, it really is, I don't understand it how we focus on living life and making the best of it and others focused on us and destroying our lives but it goes back and forth cause there are racist blacks just like racist whites. It just hurts cause you never hear about the cops or anyone else accidentally killing a young white male but it happens to us all the time.

I'm off that and still that is why I love football or that is one of the many reasons is that their are people from all different races, cultures, genders, sizes and shapes and ages that participate in the game of football and that has become one of the main reasons for loving football, this is a sport I loved since I could remember.

And in basketball Lebron shocked the world when he said that he was coming home, wow!!!

Oh yeah and in college football this is the first year there is going to be a playoffs and a championship game to determine the true number one team in the country, this is something we been talking about ever since I was a kid and here we go in 2014.

This has definitely been an interesting year with more to talk about personally, socially, and more so stay tuned as we look upon 2014. 

Ohio pt.1

Ohio

Born and raised in Ohio, 

Youngstown, Ohio to be specific, most critics look down on my small little city like its the slums, far from pretty but like its grimy and gritty. Youngstown or Da Yo for short has all kinds of positives in it, around it and about it such as the local university has built a lot of new and nice facilities and not just on campus buildings are being put up but also around the city there are grocery stores and gas stations being built which is cool because this is happening in areas that need these places. There are more small businesses opening up everyday in my city which is another positive that is taking place here in Da Yo, a city so small it forces you to dream big, really big, extra big cause we know that there is a great big beautiful world outside of this little city and to get a glimpse of something better all we got to do is jump on the freeway and head to Cleveland bypassing Akron, Ohio which is a small city just like Youngstown it may be a little bigger, Akron is where the king of the court Lebron James was born and raised to by the way also is the home of Good year tire. 

So we head to Cleveland where you can catch a Cleveland Cavs, Browns or an Indians game. Cleveland has the best downtown in Ohio it gets live and the people of Cleveland are about their fashion. 

When we get through with Cleveland then we head to Columbus, Ohio which houses the most beloved team in Ohio which is The Ohio State buckeyes football team, O state most Ohioans pride and joy. Ohio state school is viewed as one of the best schools in the country. Columbus is our state capital and probably the biggest and nices city in Ohio full of opportunities, this is a city that many Ohioans flee to on a mission to live a better life. 

Ohio the home of many rich and famous people you may have heard of like Rockafella, George Steinbrenner, The Warner bros., Dave Chappelle, Halle Berry, Sara Jessica Parker, and so many more, this state has produced six or seven U.S presidents I don't remember the exact amount at the moment. 

Ohio is home and not as country as most outsiders would think, beautiful in the fall and spring to me, it can get hot in the summer, and cold as all hell in the winter. 

In Ohio I've had some of my greatest days and some of the worst, while watching many of my family members pass away and friends murdered and also sent to prison for a lifetime. 

This state has made me the man I am today and the writer/author I am today, the father that I am today. 

This is where I'm from and still I have more to touch on, more cities to speak about that lay here in this state. So until next time pick up one of my books or all three of the books I got out with another one coming out any day now.

Frustrated

I'm trying my very hardest to stay positive right now is all I can say

The equator 

Standing right on the equator

Underground they know of my behaviors, their is plenty

So am I gangster, fake or lost

I left many times, hit the Bermuda Triangle, Devil's Triangle, Gods temple, everywhere and back. The right pushing left and the left would love to see me right. No home just me, just a couple people and me.

But I'm the one. The one that try harder then most and fail more then most. This equator consist of a rock  and a hard place, quitting or overcoming, failure and success, cops and robbers, hot, cold, bold and the beautiful, life and death. 

The safe and the extreme.

In the middle of east and west,

And the walls are closing in on me.

No time to be Luke warm.

Could be the last

This could be the last time I wake up, you never know, that is why I find it difficult to save up, even harder to relax. The last words, books, thoughts, talks, walks, breaths, sites, moments, the last push towards, success and greatness,.

This could be the last time we see each other, the last time that we talk to each other so why not end on a good note, this is why we must live like everyday is our last, and treat everyone like it will be the last time you will see them.  

Please embrace every moment with me because this could be the last.

My why's

Why do I get up in the morning because today could be the day that it all change. Another day another chance. I get up in the morning because if I didn't my love ones would be devastated. I get up in the morning because I'm not a quitter I got to keep on stepping and keep on believing.

Why not, strive to achieve the impossible, be what and who you want to be.

I love myself is why I continue to strive, and drive after a dive.

I love my family is my why,

I love my girl, motivated by the love we have for each other, she has stuck by my side through out my ups and downs, I can't fail her, I can't fail us, I can't fail the kids is why I will never surrender to failure. 

These are the majority of my why's in soon time I'll give you more.

What are your why's?

Why?

The man asked I believe to be the greatest question I ever heard, yet so simple and one word though the correct question to ask, a very powerful question to ask which was,
Why?
Why do you wake up in the morning?
Why do you continue to live?
Why do you continue to move forward, try time and time again to move forward in life,
Why do you continue to get up after you been knocked down?
And so I thought about my why's and I thought some more,
What is my why, what is your why?
Well because.......... Let me think about it some more.

Penman, Pen pusher

Penman, pen pusher,
so I live by the pen, I die by the pen.
At a time I was a scribbler living amongst fabricators and fictionists.
I'm an intense wordsmith, architect, designer, an author of my everyday novel, because I'm a novelist, essayist, columnist, volumnist  and an illusionist. I'm a penny-a-liner and a paper-stainer that has learned to live with the stains.
I put my pen into framing a better picture because I'm also a framer, a mover and a maker. The biggest game of the year is initiation vs. procrastination. I'm an initiator, I rival against the procrastinator because I'm even a producer. I'm a founder and an inventor.
I invent originations like the originator I am. Originating prose;
See I'm a prose writer, prose man, man of letters.
So many avenues and talents for this composer, this fashioner,
this creator.
So where is my pen women, which is the missing piece to my playwright?
Some people draw, some write their life away or into existence anyway. Many times at the end of the day in the end, there was just me and my pen, my best friend, the most loyal noun I know,
remains beside me wherever I go.
I'm still a slave to the pen only now I don't hurt myself I help others with it. My pen has never stole from me or lied to me, cheated or has done me wicked, has given me pure bliss to be specific, peace and love attached right along with it.
